We run a private practice offering a full range of preventative and cosmetic dentistry but treat children of existing patients under the NHS. At Portland Street Dental & Implant Practice prevention is central to our treatment philosophy. Our hygienists work alongside our dentists, focusing on improving and maintaining the condition of your gums as well as offering a range of other treatments – from relieving tooth sensitivity to stain removal helping you become more confident and feel better about the long term condition of your teeth and smile. As part of our commitment to your care, you will find that all our surgeries are modern, well equipped and include good access for wheelchairs.

Your Safety

Your safety is of the highest concern to us. We operate the latest systems of sterilisation throughout the practice and use disposable products wherever possible.

Pain Management

We know that for some people, going to the dentist can be an anxious time and that they will put off going for dental treatment. Our dentists are sympathetic about these feelings, and you can ask us about ways to help. To reduce your stress levels, we can assure you we will take the time needed to listen to your concerns, your appointment will never be rushed and we will explain what we plan to do in an easy-to-understand way.

This, combined with specific pain reducing instruments like the Wand will help make your visit much more pleasant than you imagined.

Fees and Payment Methods

We have a scale of fees that depends on the treatment we administer. See the details of fees here.

We have a scale of fees that depends on the treatment we administer. See the details of fees here. We do offer you a choice of paying by cash, cheque, Visa, MasterCard, switch and Delta. We realise that whilst many people would like to benefit from the treatments available, paying in one amount can prove difficult. Unfortunately, for many, delaying the treatment can result in on-going discomfort and may incur additional cost if the problem deteriorates. Accordingly, to enable you to benefit from the smile you want now, we are pleased to be able to offer 0% (interest free) loans, enabling patients to spread the cost of higher value dental treatments (min £500) over an agreed number of months. We have a consumer credit licence that allows us to offer this interest free credit. For further details, please ask a member of staff.

Please be aware that accounts not settled on time will be subject to additional charges.
